(2021), some mediation models in the present study revealed that attention control fully mediated the relationship between complex span performance and fluid intelligence, depending on which tasks were included as indices of attention control. This is one such model – as the dashed line indicates a non-statistically significant path between fluid intelligence and complex span when accounting for attention control.
