The increasing prevalence is particularly evident in the older cohort. In Denmark the prevalence increased from 77.7 to 151.2 per 100,000 men aged ≥75 years, and from 53.33 to 112 per 100,000 women ≥75 years 2005-2018. In Sweden the prevalence increased from 92.7 to 134.2 per 100,000 in men aged ≥75 years, and from 99.3 to 151.2 per 100,000 women ≥75 years from 2008 to 2018.
