Interaction effects for age Inline graphicnetwork, age Inline graphictask, and network Inline graphictask. Prediction accuracy (i.e. root mean squared error, RMSE) was best for the whole-brain approach (i.e. Power nodes) for both age groups (P < 0.00005; A). Prediction accuracy for younger subjects was best for high-demand (HD) while prediction accuracy for older subjects was best for low-demand (LD) task conditions (P < 0.00005; B). Prediction accuracy was better for the high-demand task condition in all brain networks investigated (P < 0.00005; C).
