F-values from a one-way ANOVAs testing for differences in divergence using pairwise FST comparisons as input (see Materials and Methods for details). ANOVAs were performed separately for each continent and genomic region (inside vs. outside inversion) with respect to In(3R)Payne. To determine which of the three levels (karyotype, geography, and karyotype + geography) differ from each other we performed Tukey's HSD post hoc tests. *P < 0.05; **P < 0.01; and ***P < 0.001.
