^aSolutions of peptides (0.5 mM, 500 μL) in 1X PBS buffer (10 mM sodium phosphate, 137 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl buffer, pH 7.4) were each treated with a solution of Pronase (0.88 mg/mL, 200 μL). Degradation of peptides was monitored by HPLC.
