Multiple subjects can be presented as an interactable flipbook to provide 3D context when needed for a given task. In the first ‘Etch A Cell’ project, contributors were presented a stack of five images with FOV cropped to show a single cell. Contributors were asked to use the freehand drawing tool to annotate the nuclear envelope in the central plane of the image stack. Two slices above and below the annotation plane were included to aid in the distinction of nuclear envelope from other features within the images
