Figure 2. — ILR screening effects on primary and secondary outcomes according to NT-proBNP subgroups. Event rates and hazard ratios of stroke/systemic embolism (SE), stroke/SE/cardiovascular death, and all-cause death for implantable loop recorder (ILR) screening vs usual care according to NT-proBNP (N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide) subgroups. Crude event rates are presented as number of events per 100 person-years with 95% CI and were estimated with Poisson regression. Hazard ratios and P values for interaction were determined in cause-specific Cox models. The conversion factor for NT-proBNP expressed as pg/mL is 1 pg/mL=0.12 pmol/L. Hence, 15 pmol/L corresponds to 125 pg/mL.
