In vitro treatment with interferon (IFN) α-2b significantly increases HLA-I expression on B and T lymphocytes of CLL subjects with stable disease. Panel (A,B) indicate % increase in HLA-I surface expression level on B and T cells of CLL subjects after an overnight culture in the presence of medium alone or saturating concentration of IFN α-2b, as indicated in x axis. Statistical evaluation of data has been performed by means of the Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed rank test. Statistical significance values are indicated.
