Assembling of Shelterin. The six known components of Shelterin: TRF1, TRF2, TERF2IP (RAP1), TIN2, TPP1, and POT1. TRF1 and TRF2 bind to telomeric DNA duplexes, while POT1 binds to single-stranded DNA in the 3′ overhang region.
