Note: (a) The p62 level in MG132± and Flag-TRIM13± A549 cells was measured by Western blot. (b) The p62 protein level was measured by Western blot in oe-NC- or oe-TRIM13-transfected A549 cells with CHX treatment at different time points. A gradual and time-dependent decline of the p62 protein level in oe-TRIM13-A549 cells indicates the involvement of TRIM13 in p62 protein degradation. (c) IP-WB was used to detect the p62 ubiquitination level in oe-NC- or oe-TRIM13-transfected A549 cells. ** P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001 indicate significant values.
