LOXL2 enhanced the proliferation and inhibited the apoptosis in CRC cells without 5-FU treatment. (A) Clone formation assays in HTC116 and SW48 cell lines. Overexpressed LOXL2 significantly increased the number of HCT116 cell colonies, while the knockdown of LOXL2 significantly decreased the number of SW48 cell colonies. (B) The apoptosis rates of CRC cells treated without 5-FU were detected with the flow cytometry assays.
