The PQE Atx7 fragment sequesters endogenous AR and Atx3 into insoluble aggregates

(A,C) Supernatant/pellet fractionation for detecting sequestration of endogenous AR (A) and Atx3 (C) by Atx7 93Q-N172. HEK 293T cells were transfected with empty vector, FLAG-Atx7 10Q-N172 or FLAG-Atx7 93Q-N172. Approximately 48 h after transfection, the cell lysates were subject to supernatant/pellet fractionation and then to western blot analysis with an anti-FLAG, anti-AR or anti-Atx3 antibody.
