Relationship among farms where new lineage MAH was isolated. Aichi Y farm bred and supplied pigs to Aichi X, Aichi B and Gifu A farm, where these farms had the novel lineage (GM21, GM10 and GM32). Aichi X farm whose gilts were introduced from Aichi Y farm supplied pigs to Shiga A farm where GM12 was isolated. Finally, pigs of Gifu A, Aichi B and Shiga A farm were slaughtered in the same slaughtered plant (Gifu meat inspection center).
