MCF7 cells were treated with IC₅₀ and IC₅₀/2 values and hydrogen peroxide 1.0 mM as positive control for 48 h, and then lipid peroxidation was measured by TBARS assay. Results are shown as means ± SD of at least three independent experiments (***P < 0.001 and ****P < 0.0001 vs. control; ^### P < 0.001 and ^#### P < 0.0001 vs. hydrogen peroxide and ⁺⁺⁺P < 0.001).
