Effects of HPC on DNMT expression in the hippocampus of ICR mice. The qPCR and western blot validated that DNMT1 did not change mRNA (A) and protein (B) expressions in response to HPC. DNMT3A downregulated mRNA (C) and protein (D) expressions in response to HPC after 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 days. DNMT3B also downregulated mRNA (E) and protein (F) expressions in response to HPC after 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 days. The data are presented as mean ± SEM, n = 6 for each group.
