Table 2.

Summary of multiple linear regression investigating microbiome features associated with changes in BRSV serum titers from day 0 to day 28.

Estimate Std. Err. t-value P
Intercept 2.779 0.321 8.66 9.98−13
Mycoplasma 0.022 0.007 2.82 0.006
F-statistic = 7.952 on 1 and 71 d.f.; adjusted R2 = 0.088; overall model p = 0.006

Exposure variables investigated included changes in between d 0 and d 28 in the RA (RA) of predominant genera (Mycoplasma, Moraxella, Mannheimia, Faucicola, Pasteurella, Histophilus, Ureaplasma, and Filobacterium), the log M:M ratio at day 28, and treatment group (INJ or INT). The best model was identified comparing all possible variable combinations, and the final model only included changes in the RA of Mycoplasma. Std. Err., standard error; d.f., degrees of freedom; M:M, Mycoplasma:Moraxella.
