Chemoprotection is significantly decreased when cultured with conditioned medium. (A) MV4;11 cells were treated with 3 μM cytarabine in the presence or absence of multicell coculture with stromal, MSC, and endothelial cells in a 6:3:1 ratio. (B) MV4;11 cells were cultured in media that was collected from adherent cells growing for 48 h and diluted 50% with complete media. Cells were treated with 3 μM cytarabine where indicated. (C) MV4;11 cells were treated with 3 μM cytarabine and cultured in non-coated or MaxGel-coated wells to determine cell viability.
