Suicidal NETosis was visualized by co-localization of DNA with histones (H3) and neutrophil elastase (NE) in B. besnoiti bradyzoite-exposed bovine PMN. After 3 h of incubation, co-cultures of bovine PMN and B. besnoiti bradyzoites in a 1:4 ratio were fixed, permeabilized, and then suicidal NETosis was visualized via immunostaining.
