Respiratory conditions are chronic pulmonary disease and pulmonary circulation disease. Nonrespiratory conditions are congestive heart failure, valvular disease, peripheral vascular disease, paralysis, other neurological disorders, diabetes, hypothyroidism, renal failure, liver disease, peptic ulcer disease and bleeding, lymphoma, metastatic cancer, solid tumor without metastasis, rheumatoid arthritis/collagen vascular diseases, coagulopathy, obesity, fluid and electrolyte disorders, chronic blood loss anemia, deficiency anemias, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, psychoses, and depression.
