The average pulse energy is corrected to account for absorption by the upstream diamond anvil using the attenuation length of diamond at 18.105 keV assuming the ambient pressure density of diamond (Henke et al., 1993 ▸). The uncertainty in the average pulse energy corresponds to the standard deviation across the entire train.
