Significance tests for all nominal level variables were calculated Fisher's exact test and F tests based on one-way ANOVAs for all ratio level measures
Tests were run on the complete sample excluding 2 cases with no information for number of lifetime overdoses except for any past-year overdose needing ED treatment and past-year overdose due to fentanyl whereby participants with no past-year overdoses were also excluded
