Bacterial growth and profiles of vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity of the parent Actinomyces hyovaginalis isolate A11-2 in a laboratory fermenter, using controlled and uncontrolled pH values of the fermentation medium. Vitamin D 3 bioconversion activity is expressed in terms of amounts of calcitriol produced. Vitamin D 3 (substrate) was added two days after the beginning of the main culture, while other applied culture conditions were as those stated in the legend of Fig. 2
