Appendix 5—table 1. Characteristics of the flat inactive core and active shell for different regimes effective solvent regime.

The effective second and third virial coefficients are vη=(v+(1+2η)2)/(1+η)2 and wη=(1+2η)3/(1+η)3, respectively. In the table we use the following dimensionless quantities: the extension of the active brush, λA=LA/a, the extension of the inactive blocks, λB=LB/a, the surface area per block σ=s/a2, and the interfacial tension, α=γa2/(kBT).
