Phenotypic trait measurements in the SGEF2 population and the respective low and high lignin groups. Minimum, maximum, mean values and standard deviation (SD) for contents of seed oil (%), protein (%), protein in defatted meal (PidM in %), the sum of oil and protein (%), erucic acid (%), glucosinolate (μMol g−1 at 91% seed dry matter), the fibre fractions (% in defatted meal), thousand-kernel weight (TKW) (g), seed colour and seed coat content (%) of the SGEF2 population (n = 195). The lignin groups are divided at a lignin content of < 7.5% into low lignin group (n = 67) and high lignin group (n = 128). The mean values are shown. Significance levels were analysed with single factor ANOVA
