Note. The mastery score was rated on an 8-point scale ranging from 1 (easiest) to 8 (most difficult) in the online adaptive testing system. The percentage of correct answers in the pretest and post-test reflect the number of correct answers in relation to the overall number of questions in the pretest and post-test. Group 1: mastery scores in the exit exam were equivalent to the overall mean mastery score in the pretest. Group 2: mastery scores in the exit exam were equal to or greater than the overall mean mastery score in the exit exam. Group 3: mastery scores fell between those of Groups 1 and 2.
