A 74-year-old man with newly diagnosed prostate carcinoma (Gleason 8 and PSA 2300 ng/mL). Planar WBS showed multiple tracer-avid bone metastases in the axial and appendicular skeleton. The urinary catheter was noted in situ. In cases of extensive bone metastases, SPECT/CT may not be required.
