Reversal (+) represents patients with spontaneous direction reversal of positional nystagmus; reversal (−) represents patients without spontaneous direction reversal of positional nystagmus. BPPV indicates benign paroxysmal positional vertigo; HC-BPPV, horizontal canal BPPV; mSPVs, maximal slow-phase velocities; PC-BPPV, posterior canal BPPV.
