(A) Northern blot hybridization performed on total RNA sample extracted from T. brucei reveals two forms of tRNA^Tyr, including the mature (75 nt) band and a higher (∼120 nt), alternate conformer. (B) Triplicate growth curve of WT T. brucei cells where total RNA was collected at every time point. (C) Northern blot hybridization performed on the extracted total RNA samples revealing the mature and alternate conformers of tRNA^Tyr. The tRNA^Glu was used as loading control.
