Figure 2. — Validating Olink proteomics with commercially available assays. Olink NT-proBNP (N-terminal-pro B-type natriuretic peptide) demonstrated a strong correlation with commercially available assay (A) and elevated in patients with hypertension (HTN) with myocardial fibrosis assessed with Olink and commercially available assay (B and C). In patients with hypertension and diabetes (HTN/DM), Olink GDF-15 (growth differentiation factor 15) had an excellent correlation with commercially available assay (D) and elevated in those with myocardial fibrosis using Olink and commercially available assay (E and F). Normalized Protein Expression (NPX) values for Olink NT-proBNP (A) and GDF-15 (D) were linearized (2^NPX). Results in B, C, E, and F were presented in median and interquartile range. HTN/DM-Fib indicates HTN/DM and fibrosis; and HTN-Fib, hypertension and fibrosis.
