Interspecies structural connectivity similarity. For each species, cosine similarity values are plotted in matrix form. A high cosine similarity value suggests that the connectivity values are more comparable than a lower cosine similarity value. The results show that there are 25 pairs of human and macaque brain regions with similarity greater than 0.6. Additionally, an intra-species structural similarity analysis was performed between the human and monkey brains (see Supplementary Figures 5, 6), and the results demonstrated that both species exhibited intra-species consistency.
