Note: The sample size is smaller for cord blood samples because we were not able to collect cord blood from a small number of participants. DF, detection frequency; GM, geometric mean; GSD, geometric standard deviation; LOD, limit of detection; Max, maximum; Min, minimum; NA, not applicable; NR, not reportable; PFHxS, perfluorohexane sulfonate; PFOS, perfluorooctane sulfonate.
aThe LOD and DF for branched PFOS were not reportable because they were estimated by subtracting the levels of linear PFOS from the total PFOS. Maternal/cord ratio illustrates transfer efficiency between maternal and cord matrices and was calculated by GM(Maternal)/GM(Cord). Summary statistics were calculated for each analyte in the full sample for cord and maternal serum.
