Northern blot analysis of total RNA extracted from the wild-type strain, KY320, transformed with YEp13 and from the isogenic pdr1 pdr3 mutant strain, JY312, transformed with YEp13, pDTF1, pDTF2, or pDTF3. The filter was hybridized sequentially with PDR5 and PDA1 ³²P-labelled probes. Autoradiography was carried out for 18 h for PDR5 and for 5 h for PDA1, with two intensifying screens at −80°C.
