Cleavage of the 8-oxoG/C duplex by the following: lane 1, no enzyme, lane 2, 5 ng of E. coli Fpg protein; lanes 3, 4, and 5, 0.2, 0.4, and 1 U of Fapy DNA glycosylase (fraction V); lanes 6, 7, and 8, 0.2, 0.4, and 1 U of Fapy DNA glycosylase (fraction IV).
