Incision of OsO4-treated DNA by the D. radiodurans enzymes. (A) 500 ng of OsO4-treated DNA was incubated at 32°C for 10 min with increasing amounts of fraction V (■) and fraction VI (▴) enzymes. The products of the reaction were separated on an agarose gel and quantified by microdensitometric analysis (for details, see Materials and Methods).
