Involvement of the thyroid hormone-αvβ3 integrin axis in the elevation of EMT markers in ovarian cancer. OVCAR-3 cells were pre-incubated overnight with increasing concentrations of RGD or functional blocking αvβ3 antibody. Following incubation, the cells were treated with a T3 (1 nM) or b T4 (100 nM) for 2 h, total proteins were extracted, and Western blot analysis for the levels of zeb-1, β-catenin, vimentin, and slug was performed.
