Adhesion of reactivated probiotics. Conditions between fresh cultures and lyophilized powders (only L. reuteri; incl. 3 replicates from Figure 2) were incubated for 2 or 24 h in MRS, Minimal Medium with glucose (MM + gluc) or saliva before adding to the discs. Adhered cells recovered from saliva covered hydroxyapatite discs after 30 min and analysed through flow cytometry.
