Establishment of dose response curve for 6 MeV, X-ray induced “dicentric + ring” in the dose range of 0–5 Gy. Curve followed linear-quadratic fit with the coefficients α = 0.0006 (±0.0068) “dicentric + ring” cell⁻¹ Gy⁻² and β = 0.0619 (±0.0043) “dicentric + ring” cell⁻¹ Gy⁻². C represents, background frequency (0.0006 ± 0.0004 “dicentric + ring” chromosomes cell⁻¹) of “dicentric + ring” chromosomes, observed in the pooled data of all volunteers.
