Mice received 5-FU Intravenously (IV) with or without daily treatment of H-MW-HA (0.01%w/v) in the drinking water as described in the text. Animals were sacrificed at days 14, 16, and 19, and Blood samples were obtained. The expression of pro-Inflammatory cytokine protein levels, A–C IL-6, D–F CXCL1/KC, and G–I IL-13, was determined in serum at days 14, 16, and 19. SOD activity was measured in serum.
