Panel A shows the absorbance spectra for BECC438b and BECC438s, panel B shows the spectra for BECC470b and BECC470s, and panel C shows the spectra for MPL and PHAD. Panel D shows the results of a dot blot assay of all six lipid A analogues after incubation with RiboGreen. The observed fluorescence for BECC438b and BECC470b suggests the presence of RNA.
