Visual function recovery in SOD2 KD mice treated with AAV-BACE1

Scotopic and photopic ERG was performed at 1 and 6 months following subretinal injection of AAV-BACE1. The peak changes in ERG a and b waves from 1 month (A) and 6 months (B) were quantified and demonstrated a significantly reduced response in SOD2 KD animals but were near normal in SOD2 KD animals receiving AAV-BACE1 (B) (p < 0.05, mean ± SEM, n = 5).
