Central physeal bar: This neonate had a history of critical care admission and intravenous antibiotic administration due to sepsis A. Two months following admission, radiographs revealed evidence of chronic osteomyelitis and cyst formation in proximal tibia. Epiphysis was not visible at this stage B. At 2 years follow up post infection, a central physeal bar is obvious. Mild cupping of the epiphysis is also evidenced.
