Fig. 1 — The snowball effect of training the worldwide future leaders in the care of older population. Highly selected participants are taught to spread their new acquired knowledge and skills to numerous other medical students, physicians, and health care professionals, to compensate for the shortfall in skilled healthcare professionals.
