TABLE 1.

Descriptive circular statistics for the snake reception data with mean and median direction, mean resultant length (MRL), circular variance (V m), and circular standard deviation (v) for all specimens combined, as well as for highly venomous (of medical importance) and non‐ or slightly venomous snakes separately. Note that degrees can be roughly interpreted as current days so that a mean resultant length of 20° roughly represents January 20th, while 351° would fall in late December.
