100 nM of NR1H3 siRNA was transfected in (A) WT, (B) p53-KO, and (C) p53R172H MEF for 48 h. On the other hand, 150 nM siRNA targeting E2F7 was applied to (D) WT, (E) p53-KO, and (F) p53R172H MEF for 24 h. Protein was extracted for immunoblotting with antibodies against NR1H3, E2F7, ATX, and β-actin. Densitometry analysis represents the percent of NR1H3, E2F7, and ATX band intensity normalized to β-actin. The data represents the mean ± SD of three independent experiments. *p < 0.05 and **p<0.01 indicate significant differences. SC: scramble.
