Fig. 1 — Stellate pattern of the iris is defined as “raised trabeculae extending from the usual stroma of the iris accompanied by absence or displacement of the iris collarette”. A Grade 0, indicating normal iris without stellate pattern. B Grade I stellate iris, (0 < stellate pattern diameter <½ total iris diameter), defined as stellate pattern diameter less than half of the iris diameter. C Grade II stellate iris, (½ total iris diameter ≤ stellate pattern diameter < total iris diameter), defined as the diameter of stellate pattern more than half of the iris diameter but less than the total iris diameter. D Grade III stellate iris, (stellate pattern diameter = total iris diameter), defined as the extent of stellate pattern involving the total of iris.
