Differences in choroidal thickness with age. (A,B) A wide-field (WF) choroidal thickness map of a 38-year-old man. The mean axial length (AL) of the eye was 24.78 mm. (C,D) A WF choroidal thickness map of a 64-year-old man. The mean AL in the eye was 24.64 mm. These findings suggest that the choroid is thinner in older individuals than in young individuals in all subfields.
