Cells are stained with Alexa Fluor 568 conjugated annexin V (red) for 20 min in TBSS with and without calcium. DAPI staining is used for visualization of nuclei. In contrast to C2C12 wild-type cells, CDC50A-deficient cells stained positive for annexin V, indicating increased surface exposure of aminophospholipids.
