Inactive epimer JCS-2 does not induce degradation, and degradation by JCS-1 is prevented by VHL ligand competition, proteasome inhibition by epoxomicin (Epox), and neddylation inhibition by MLN4924 (MLN). Inhibitor RG3039 alone or combined with the VHL ligand also do not induce degradation. Blots show lysates from independent wells harvested side-by-side on the same day. Quantitation to the right.
