Determined µa for 20 Δµa steps in first (a) and second (b) experiments involving ink, at 768 nm. Measurements on a compartment with increasing µa (Pos. #1 or Pos. #3) were analyzed using the curve-fitting method with a homogeneous model (black crosses).
