PLGA droplet size as a function of the flow rates of continuous and dispersed phases. Droplet size was measured at constant flow rates for the dispersed phase (1 (blue), 6 (gray), and 9 μL/min (yellow)) while altering the flow rate of the continuous phase. Eight data points for each flow condition were used to determine the droplet size, and error bars were calculated based on the standard deviations of these measurements.
